All photos on this CD can be read in either the True-Color 24 bit format Landscapes (JPEG format in 768 x 512 pixels) for the professional user or in Windows BMP format in either 320x200 or 640×400 resolutions. Also included on this CD is the ESCAL-VIEWER to make viewing, modifying and * transporting portions of the pictures into other paint programs easy. It even allows the user to make an overview of all the pictures contained on this CD. European Landscapes: Far away from the traffic and hustle and bustle of big European cities such as London, Paris, or Rome, are regions in Europe that seem serene and sleepy as if time stood still for centuries. The people live like they did back then. Agriculture and traditional architecture have been preserved over the centuries. Take a trip through the hills and valleys of Southern Europe. All CD-ROM drives on IBM PC, Tandy and 100% compatibles are able to read the information. All Apple Macintoshes with CD-ROM drives are able to view the pictures as well. The program VIEWER.EXE requires Microsoft Windows and at least a 256 color VGA graphics card. Recommended is a SVGA graphics card with the capability to display 24 bit True Color graphics in combination with an appropriate color monitor. The enclosed software and data are copyrighted.
